Divisions


For the 2011 season we will be offering FOUR divisions to our cheer program. Please check the request form for all request options including friend, sibling or dad coaching a football team

  • Tiny Tots

    • This program is an introduction to cheerleading. Tiny Tots will practice from 5:45-6:45 on Tuesdays.
    • This program is available for girls who will be in Kindergarten fall of 2011.
    • Participants will learn 5 basic cheers for the season
    • Additional cheers will be added based on how well the Tiny Tots have mastered the basic five cheers.
    • Tiny Tots may cheer for 4th or 5th grade tackle football
    • Tiny Tots can request to cheer for a brother playing for or dad coaching a 4th or 5th grade tackle football team.
    Moms, this is a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of being a volunteer coach for your daughter’s team
  • No experience necessary
  • We will try and keep all Tiny Tots together on squads. Some girls may be placed with younger Junior cheerleaders. Squad placement will depend on the draft. NO Tiny Tots may be placed on Senior or All Star squads.

    Juniors

    • This program is recommended for girls in grades 1-3 who have never cheered before or have little experience cheering.Juniors will practice from 5:45-6:45 on Tusdays.
    • Juniors will learn approximately 3 new cheers a week
    • Juniors will cheer for 4th and 5th grade tackle football.
    • Juniors may request to be placed with a sister enrolled in the Junior program.
    • Juniors can request to cheer for a brother playing for or dad coaching a 4th or 5th grade tackle football team.
    • Juniors can request to be placed with a friend enrolled in the Junior program.
    Moms, this program has simple cheers to learn for the first time volunteer coach
  • No experience necessary. Please make sure if you are requesting to be placed on a squad with a friend that your friend is enrolled in the Junior program.

    Seniors

    • This program is recommended for girls in grades 4-6.Seniors practice from 7:00-8:00 pm. on Tuesdays.
    • Girls will learn more advanced cheers.
    • Seniors will cheer for 6th grade tackle football.
    • Seniors can request to be placed with a sister enrolled ¡n the Senior program.
    • Seniors can request to cheer for a brother playing for or a dad coaching a 6th grade tackle football team.
    • Seniors can request to be placed with a friend enrolled in the Senior program.
    Moms, this is a fun and challenging program to volunteer to coach for your daughter’s team
  • We will provide training for all our coaches.

    All Stars

    All new and returning All Star cheerleaders will need to purchase a new uniform for the 2011 season. The cost is $80 for the top and bottom. Black bloomers will be $9. Our previous uniform has been discontinued by the manufacturer after 11 years. All Stars will practice from 7:00-8:00 pm on Tuesdays on a separate section of our practice field with an instructor from Indiana Elite
  • Practice will focus on a quick 5-7 minute review of our sideline cheers
  • The rest of the time the cheerleaders will be learning quick routines set to music.
    • You must have two or more years experience in the Recreational Cheer program to enroll and at least be starting 3rd grade for fall 2011.

    • There will be approximately eight cheerleaders placed on five squads.
    • This program is limited to the first 40 girls who sign up for the All Star program. Girls must be registered and fitted for their uniforms by our 2nd fitting on May 14th, 2011.
    • Those not paid and fitted by May 14th will be removed from the All Star roster and we will start contacting the girls on our All Star wait list
    • SPECIAL REQUESTS...All Star cheerleaders may only request to be placed with another cheerleader signed up for the All Star program.
    • All Stars can cheer for grades 4-6 tackle football depending on how the football draft plays out. Cheer squads and the teams they will cheer for are decided after the football draft has been completed.
    • The All Stars will have a special uniform and pom poms.
    • All Star coaches will be determined by the Cheer Board.
